CVE-2023-43208Mirth Connect — unauthenticated commands from one request

NextGen Healthcare Mirth Connect before 4.4.1 executes commands from a crafted request with no login at all. It exists because the fix for an earlier flaw was incomplete, and ransomware crews have used it against health providers.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Upgrade Mirth Connect to 4.4.1 or later, and keep the integration engine off the public internet — it moves patient data between systems and was never a front door.
